😣 I Feel Ashamed

You Are Not Broken
Shame tells us we’re flawed. Healing begins when we discover that our worth was never lost.
😣 I’m Feeling Ashamed
You are more than the worst thing you’ve experienced or the worst mistake you’ve made.
Shame has a way of convincing us that something is fundamentally wrong with us.
It whispers:
“If people really knew me…”
“I’m broken.”
“I’m not enough.”
“I don’t deserve love.”
Unlike guilt, which focuses on something we did, shame attacks who we believe we are.
But shame isn’t the truth.
It’s a protective story the brain often creates after painful experiences, criticism, rejection, or trauma.
The good news is that stories can change.
